Kristen Anne Bell (1980) is an incredibly popular American actress and singer. Bell was raised in Huntington Woods, Michigan, and is the daughter of Lorelei (Frygier) and is an RN as well as Tom Bell, a television news director. She is the daughter of a Polish as is her father, who is German, English Irish and Scottish. Kristen discovered her talents in entertainment from a young age. When she was in 1992, she was the first to go to an audition. The audition was for the role in Raggedy Ann And Andy. Bell's mother signed her up with an agency just before her 13th birthday. She was then featured in TV commercials as well as newspaper advertisements. In the same year, she also began classes in acting. Bell was in a role of minor importance without credit in Polish Wedding (1998), in 1998. Bell was a part of the music and drama club in Shrine Catholic High School. The school's stage production The Wizard of Oz, Bell won the role of Dorothy. Following graduation, Bell made the move in New York City to attend the prestigious Tisch School of the Arts, where she learned about musical theatre. Bell left college in 2001 when she was cast in the role Becky to play Tom Sawyer. It was also in 2001 that Bell's first appearance in a movie that had been credited, Pootie Tang (2002). Unfortunately her scene is cut off and the credits only depict her. Bell was seen with Angela Bettis and Liam Neeson in 2002's Broadway revival of The Crucible.
